LA - Internship 2019 - DNA

The summer before my senior year I took part in Elon University’s Elon in LA program. The program consisted of a production class, and an internship. I completed an internship at a small Santa Monica based digital marketing agency called Digital Niche Agency (DNA). DNA specializes in providing marketing services for small businesses as well as startups and crowdfunding campaigns. In recent years they’ve also dabbled in campaigns for cryptocurrency related ventures. During my time at DNA, I was a Content Marketing Intern, with a heavy emphasis on content.

Social Media Management

One of my main tasks at DNA, was to manage our social media channels. This meant: drafting posts for Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook as well as interacting with our followers. The images to the right are just a few examples of the kinds of posts I created for DNA’s Instagram page.

New Site

The thing I am most proud of from my time at DNA however, is the website that I redesigned from the ground up. This new site was a vast improvement from the previous site and was a painstaking process that took countless hours to get just right. The site was built out in Wix, but I utilized a few bits of custom code here and there to get the site to a place that I was happy with. The full site is embedded below for your scrolling pleasure.
